Northern Kentucky University

– Rho Nu –

Executive Committee

Hailey Fossitt

President

Hailey is a Junior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in Biology. She is a pre-med biology major on the cellular molecular genetic track. Hailey joined Phi Mu because of our philanthropy, but she gained so much more. Hailey's favorite Phi Mu experience has been traveling to Georgia with some sisters for Phi Mu Officer Academy and meeting sisters from other chapters around the US. Another favorite Phi Mu memory of Hailey's is the time she brought her pig to chapter! A fun fact about Hailey is that she has 4 horses, 4 goats, 2 pigs, a dog, and 16 chickens! Hailey wants to see our philanthropy grow stronger in the next few years!

Sydney Wege

Vice President of Committees

Sydney is a Junior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in Media Informatics with a minor in Marketing and a focus in Journalism. Sydney joined Phi Mu because she wanted the opportunity to help an organization grow into a vibrant group of women who can make a strong impact on NKU's campus. Sydney's favorite Phi Mu experience so far is her weekly pizza dates with Miranda that help create an everlasting bond between them. A fun fact about Sydney is that she became a certified scuba diver when she was 11 years old and has dove in the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Belize, Mexico, and in several quarries throughout the United States. Sydney hopes that Phi Mu will become extremely involved on campus and uphold the values that Mary, Mary and Martha came up with so long ago.

Amanda Schnur

Vice President of Chapter Development

Amanda is a sophomore at NKU and is majoring in Business Administration, but will be attending law school after undergrad. Amanda is a charter member of the Rho Nu chapter at NKU. Amanda chose Phi Mu because of a lot of things, but mostly because of the philanthropy: CMNH. When Amanda was in high school, she spent a lot of time being treated at CMNH and their help has changed her life. Since then, she has been trying to find a way to give back to Children’s, and Phi Mu was the perfect fit. Her favorite experience in Phi Mu has been seeing the chapter grow together as well as seeing individual women really growing into the people who they’re meant to be. A fun fact about Amanda is that she’s obsessed with contemporary a cappella music (like from Pitch Perfect) and was in a contemporary a cappella group in high school. Amanda hopes that over the next few years, the Rho Nu chapter will continue growing and positively impacting the lives of its members and everyone who they come into contact with.

Kristina Utz

Phi Director

Kristina is a sophomore at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in Elementary and Special education. Kristina is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Kristina chose Phi Mu because she loves what it stands for and our philanthropy. Kristina’s favorite Phi Mu experience is getting to know all the new Phis. A fun fact about Kristina is that she hopes to move out of the country when she is older. In five years, Kristina hopes that we are a strong group of women who still push each other to do the best we can while upholding all our values.

Kyana Frierson

Membership Director

Kyana is a junior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in studio arts and entrepreneurship. Kyana is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Kyana chose Phi Mu because she loves the meaning of being in Phi Mu. Her favorite Phi Mu experience was bringing in our first Phi’s. A fun fact about Kyana is that she is on the Northern Kentucky dance team! Kyana would like to see Phi Mu flourish into a wonderful sorority, known not just on campus, but all around the tristate area because of our dedication to our philanthropy and community.

Jenna Bilz

Treasurer

Jenna is a senior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in accounting. Jenna is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Jenna chose Phi Mu not only for the people, whom she loves dearly, but because of the values in which Phi Mu lives by. Her favorite Phi Mu experience was speaking at the Phi Mu Extension presentation at Austin Peay University. A fun fact about Jenna is that she is the captain of the NKU Dance Team! In the next few years, Jenna would like to see the chapter getting more involved with the campus and other Greek life while also growing in our sisterhood!

Annie Boytim

Panhellenic Delegate

Annie is a sophomore at Northern Kentucky University, with a major in radiology! Annie is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Annie joined Phi Mu because she wanted a sorority that did not have stereotypes of stigmas to live up to. She wanted one that fit her and the person she believes she is. She wanted a sisterhood with all the laughter and fun times. Phi Mu has done all of these things and more for her since she joined. Her favorite experience as weird as it sounds, is the time before discipline meetings. She gets to sit and talk to her sisters about life and laugh about silly things while listening to music. She likes the fact that she just gets to chill out before they have to deal with topics that are not always easy. She thought discipline would be super scary being the chairman, but it’s the little things like that that makes it worthwhile to her. A fun fact about Annie is that she tore and frayed the ligaments and tendons in her ankle her sophomore year of high school, so her right calf and ankle are smaller than her left. Annie has noticed that the girls are really excited to get involved and participate in other chapters’ philanthropy events, but she thinks a lot of them get discouraged with their other sisters don’t patriciate or show up to what they signed up for. She would like to see the women holding their word that they will participate, and just seeing more than the same few girls going out and interacting with other chapters.

Miranda Dampier

Director of Harm Reduction and Prevention

Miranda is a first semester sophomore at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in photography. Miranda is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Miranda grew up in and round the hospital, and seeing kids not knowing why they were there, she wanted to somehow make their experience better, and that is why she joined Phi Mu. Miranda believes that Phi Mu’s contribution to the Children’s Miracle Network is a way to do that! Pizza dates with Sydney, her twin Meg, and her best friend Emily are part of what makes her stay! A fun fact about Miranda is that she has been to Disney 18 times, and in June she is going for her 19th time! She really would love to see the girls welcome each other more and everyone contributing to the sorority.

Lauren Goderwis

Social Chair

Lauren is a senior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in public relations with a minor is communications studies. Lauren is a charter member for the Phi Mu chapter at NKU. Lauren chose Phi Mu because she wanted to be a part of a great group of girls who she could rely on while having fun with. Her favorite Phi Mu experience is when we had a retreat at the zoo and walking around with girls she did not know well, but can now call some of them her closest friends. A fun fact about Lauren is that she really likes Taco Bell and Disney World. Lauren hopes Phi Mu can gain some wonderful girls through the next few years and become a really impactful chapter on campus.

Sierra Troas

Secretary

Sierra is a junior at Northern Kentucky University, who majors in biology. She is a pre-med biology major on the cellular molecular genetic track.
